Indiana Adventure Network was created for people who believe some of the best adventures don’t require crossing state lines. From hiking trails and campgrounds to fishing holes, bike routes, off-road destinations and hidden corners of the state, our goal is simple: help people discover more of Indiana.
This isn’t about collecting places on a list. It’s about getting outside, finding somewhere new, and sharing the kind of useful information that makes the next adventure a little easier to plan.
Meet Craig & Patriot
I’m Craig Holcomb, founder of Indiana Adventure Network. I started IAN because I believe there are incredible places to explore right here in Indiana, and a lot of them don’t get nearly the attention they deserve.
Most of the time, my adventure partner is Patriot. He’s part trail scout, part wildlife inspector, and apparently considers every squirrel in Indiana a personal matter. Together, we’re getting out there, exploring new places, sharing what we learn, and hopefully helping other Hoosiers find their next adventure too.

Indiana Adventure Network isn’t meant to be one person’s list of favorite places. The goal is to build a community of people who explore Indiana and are willing to share what they discover.
We’re looking for hikers, campers, anglers, paddlers, cyclists, off-roaders and everyday adventurers to contribute firsthand reviews, photos, tips and stories from around the state. You don’t have to be an expert or a professional writer. If you’ve been somewhere worth exploring, we want to hear about it.
The more experiences we share, the more useful Indiana Adventure Network becomes for everyone looking for their next Indiana adventure.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet trail or something with a little more mud on the tires, Indiana Adventure Network is built to help you find your next place to explore.
Hiking – Trails, preserves, state parks and hidden places worth walking.
Camping – Campgrounds, campsites, facilities and firsthand tips for spending the night outdoors.
Kayaking – Lakes, rivers and paddling destinations for beginners and experienced paddlers.
Fishing – Indiana lakes, ponds and rivers, including species, regulations, access and what anglers should know before they go.
Biking – Paved paths, scenic rides, historic trails and mountain-bike destinations.
Off-Road – ATV, UTV, dirt-bike and 4x4 destinations, along with trail information, rules and difficulty levels.
Some places will be personally reviewed by us. Others will be IAN Discoveries, researched destinations we think are worth exploring and hope members of the IAN community will experience and review for everyone else.
